Lighting Design
Dan served as the Theatrical Consultant for the building of this theatre, Working with the Architect and the client Z. Clark Branson, I was charged with the responsibility to help create a theatrical space that would allow designers to do great work. Given the number of awards and nominations designers have received in this space, I would say I succeeded.

The John Anson Ford Theatres are owned by the County of Los Angeles and operated in partnership with the Department of Parks & Recreation and the Ford Theatre Foundation. Situated in a 32-acre regional park in the Cahuenga Pass, the Ford Theatres complex is one of the oldest performing arts venues in Los Angeles still in use. Each year, the Ford presents an eclectic summer season of music, dance, theatre, film and family events that represent the diversity of the region.
Dan served as the consulting lighting designer on the 2014 Ford Theatres Project (https://www.fordtheatres.org/ford-theatres-project ), working with architects and theatrical consultants to ensure that this beautiful facility had a lighting system that was not only state of the art, but served the facilities unique mission and client base.
